It has been another busy month with lots going on.
We have welcomed Evie and Seiva/Etta to the wdr family this month.
Evie has gone straight to foster where she will be assessed, she is currently receiving lots of attention and love, she is experiencing the outside world and proving to be a very fast learner. Please see individual post for more details.
Seiva arrived as an emergency case and is now in kennels where she will be spayed and assessed. Well it has been a rather interesting and rather stressful week to say the least, but she is finally beginning to settle into kennels and has been out on some nice walks. She has been to the vets for a health check, we did have concerns she was in pup, but after a scan we can confirm there are no pups in her tummy – phew!! She is booked in to be spayed next week. Updates to follow.
Skye has now been officially adopted, she is settling in well and still behaving herself. We cannot thank Dave enough for all the work he put in with Skye, what a transformation. We wish her all the very best and I’m sure we will receive some lovely updates in due course.
Hunter has also been officially adopted this month and we cannot thank Emilie Williams-Allen and her family enough for sticking with him and working through his issues. Hunter is a very lucky boy to have found Emilie.
Timber had a longer stay in kennels than originally thought, she was rushed to vets with an expected pyometra, but the scan was clear and Timber received treatment for a urine infection. She has now been spayed and once she has recovered she will hopefully going to her lovely foster family.
Codek is still with his fosters. Codek is certainly a challenge and is so lucky to have landed himself with his foster family who have not given up on him and can see through his issues. Codek is reserved and will be adopted very soon.
Rubea is still in kennels, she has received lots of training and work on her trust issues. She is doing so much better and although we are still cautious where she will be placed we no longer feel her only option is a sanctuary. She needs to go to a specialist home with someone who has experience and understanding of the breed.
Hera desperately needs to come in and we are still waiting for the right application. Please see her advert and if you can welcome this lovely girl into your heart and home please get in touch.
